I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the labs of Dr. Graham Bell and Dr. Gregor Fussmann,Biology Department, McGill University.  I am studying the evolutionary and ecological response of phytoplankton to rising atmospheric CO2.  I also study extremophiles and soil fertility.   I strive to combine fundamental questions in ecology and evolution with pragmatic questions and applications in environmental sciences.
